Dr. Talmazov completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). During college he volunteered at community health clinics where he noticed a lack of oral health education. He learned that oral health care has an important role in our quality of life. After college Dr. Talmazov was inspired and continued onto attaining a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from VCU.
He continued his post-graduate training for 3 additional years at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston to gain additional knowledge and experience in treating the most complex of cases. He finds it rewarding to give back a person’s abilities to present a confident smile, enjoy foods, and speak clearly.
Dr. Talmazov has developed a passion for prosthodontics because it is an in-depth study that combines his interests in clinical practice, art, and science into one purpose - help others using therapy that is patient-centric and uniquely tailored to their needs. Dr. Talmazov's training also took part at MD Anderson’s Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics where he gained an understanding on how to help oral cancer patients and be an integral part of their healthcare team.
Dr. Talmazov enjoys connecting with his patients by listening, as the needs of every person are unique. Because of his personal values, he strives to deliver patient-centric care and use the latest evidence-based techniques to improve people’s quality of life.
