What is Invisalign®?

How often will I need to see the dentist?

During your first visit to Tyson’s Dental in Vienna, Virginia, we will take impressions and x-rays of your teeth.  After discussing your goals for the Invisalign® treatment, a series of clear plastic retainers are ordered.  You simply change your retainer based on the instructions provided, and come into the office for checkups. 

How long will it take to straighten my teeth?

Treatment with Invisalign® is usually completed within a year, and minor alignment issues can usually be addressed within six months.  Because the Invisalign® retainers can be removed, it is important to remember that straightening your teeth in a quick and effective manner will require that you wear the retainers at all times, except when eating and drinking.  The comfort of Invisalign® ensures that they can be worn at all times.
